We start our 4 day Big 5 Safari Kruger Park by departing from Belvedere Estate, Johannesburg and heading towards Maputo and Nelspruit (pick-up points), enjoying sightseeing along the way in Mpumalanga. This course will transport us back in time to experience the original paths used for trade in this region. Arrival at camp will see us settle in to our new home for the duration of the tour as well as hop on the evening drive.
Off to an early start, we embark on a guided full day safari of the Kruger National Park and wildlife viewing. The aforementioned – Activity Package – grants access to open-air 4×4 vehicles that allow you to get right in on all the action. Allow the guides to help you spot the king of the jungle with the naked eye!
Another timely morning rise sees us on our bush walk where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about vegetation and the ecosystems of South Africa afoot. Hereafter, we commence with our Panorama Route Tour which includes iconic must-do sightseeing at God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes (where we lunch) and lastly Three Rondavels where there is a fantastic market where you can buy souvenirs. Upon return you’ll sit down to a proudly South African supper while enjoying traditional song and dance.
Relish the last trip through Kruger Park as we head home from our Big 5 Safari and bid the animals farewell. The beautiful scenic drive offers a break from the excitement as we head home. Arriving back at Belvedere Estate you are welcome to stay for supper and reminisce with your new found friends.
