Our Two Oceans Helicopter Flights Cape Town offer city sightseeing tours along the Atlantic coast of South Africa. We head off in the direction Hout Bay via Duiker Island. This is a small seal island off the coast, just behind Llandudno.
The helicopter light continues to the infamous Chapman’s Peak Drive (a breathtaking coastal thoroughfare) very popular with Capetonians. Thereafter we’re off to what is considered the most beautiful beach in Cape Town – Noordhoek.
We fly over the long sandy beach towards Scarborough, here you will be able to see the Cape of Good Hope from afar. This particular helicopter flight tour does not go to Cape Point and we’ll turn off towards False Bay. Our helicopter ride takes us to the coastal towns of Muizenberg (known as surfer’s paradise) and Fish Hoek next, until we see the wine region of Constantia in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. We fly over the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden (also know for open air concerts and other activities) and view at Table Mountain from the rear.
Just a short distance further – and finally – we catch sight of the magnificent city of Cape Town in all its grandeur. At this exact moment you will have the perfect opportunity to take the most insta worthy holiday pictures of South Africa!

We start our helicopter tour towards Hout Bay, Cape Town, and cruise over Duiker Island. Known locally as Seal Island due to the Cape fur seal that dwells on the island, it also houses a exquisite variation of marine life. During the warmer summer months Duiker Island flooded with a diverse assortment of seabirds of which one is the rare Bank Cormorants. The sight is one captured regularly by both professional and budding photographers to add to their portfolio of memorable moments!
Our city sightseeing tour now takes a turn to Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape Town. One of the most stunning displays of South African flora meeting the Atlantic Ocean. As we follow the serpentine road from Hout Bay to Noordhoek, you’ll see many visitors on the ground soaking up the view from the affectionately nicknamed ‘Chappies’. If you’re looking for a hiking trail, running/biking route or picnic site in Cape Town, this is the place for you.
As we approach Noordhoek, you’ll immediately notice the long, stunning stretch of beach which is known for being the most beautiful beach in Cape Town. This small community offers many little gems when visited on foot as well! Activities in Noordhoek include horse riding on the beach, live music at Café Roux, wine tasting and so many more fun Cape Town attractions.
Next we visit False Bay, specifically Muizenberg and Fish Hoek. Infamous for it’s array of colourful huts on the beach, top surfing conditions, beautiful environment and vibrant atmosphere, Muizenberg, Cape Town, is a must-see on our list. The coastal road is a favourite day trip drive and leads towards Fish Hoek via St James and Kalk Bay with many worth while stops along the way.
Notoriously know for great wine and deep roots in South African history, Constantia, Cape Town, offers rolling hills of vineyards, delicious foodie experiences and loads of activities. On this tour your vies will stretch over the wine valley as well as Kirstenbosch Gardens.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is well-known for being one of the great botanic gardens of the entire world. Located at the foothills of the great Table Mountain of Cape Town, very little comes close to the magnificence of this garden and you’re privy to a bird’s eye view!
The second last show stopper, but definitely not the least is Table Mountain. Iconic in it’s majesty, the 7th Wonder of Nature is the number one characteristic of Cape Town. No visit to the Mother City would be complete without an aerial 360° view of Table Mountain in all it’s glory.
Cape Town travel and tourism can be enjoyed in many ways, but we consider a lofty seat in our helicopter flights as one of the top tours to do so. Our ‘small’, but well established city of Cape Town is a marvel in itself on foot, but once in the sky, there is a certain atmosphere of astonishment that generally fills the cabin. Make sure to share in this feeling on our next Two Oceans Helicopter Flight in Cape Town.
