Absolutely love vino? Join us on a Wine Route Cape Town Tour! We start with a Stellenbosch wine tasting, thus heading off from Cape Town via the wine route in the direction of the wine farms. The scenic drive along the greenery of our beautiful Western Cape and fair surroundings of Cape Town will have you falling in love with our country as many before you have. Mighty mountains tower over and plentiful valleys, and Cape Town vineyards – a nature enthusiast’s oasis! As we arrive you’ll notice there are many popular wine tasting tours in Stellenbosch and each cellar offers tastings and some even food & wine pairings.
Once we complete our Stellenbosch wine tour we hit the road again, this time we visit Paarl. As the third oldest town in South Africa, you will see many historical venues and wine farms while here.
Next up we have Franschoek, infamous for its culinary master and centuries-old grapevines. A visit to the winelands is never complete without a stop in this charming little town. We like to believe that due to the rich history and never-ending supply of fabulous wine, the inhabitants of Franschoek have also developed a certain talent for arts and craft. The galleries, jewellery shops and little cafés on the cobblestone sidewalks give off a charisma that is sure to enchant all those that visit.
The superior quality of the wine produced in the Cape Town wine region is world renowned, maintaining the highest echelons and awards.

A short drive from Cape Town, lies the Stellenbosch wine region. Not only a picturesque town with Cape Dutch architecture and oak lined streets, but also one of the most well-known winelands of the world. Abundant with different cultivars and history, the town also captures the spirited atmosphere from the University students and locals that call it home. Explore the galleries, eateries and souvenir shops or stroll down the sidewalks while breathing in the fresh air!
From rolling green, every golfer’s dream, to deliciously made wine, Paarl offers it all. This town has become home to many South African wineries of old and new while also booming in spa facilities with great acclaim. Here, you will taste some of the wonderful Paarl wine before heading on one of our most exciting activities.
We also visit Drakenstein (Victor Verster), a low-security prison where Nelson Mandela was held captive, situated between Paarl and Franschhoek.
As an exciting part of the Wine Route Cape Town Tour, we visit Franschhoek. Referred to as the French corner it is a little piece of the French country side – right here in South Africa. Keeping a strong focus on wine, the arts and charming cafés, this gem is not to be missed on a visit to Cape Town. You will have the chance to taste some of the superb wine of the region as well as soak in the relaxing atmosphere.
Another must-do, now apart of the tour, is a unique trip on the Franschoek Wine Tram.
